Community Guidelines
Welcome to the Phase Pal Community
Our goal is to create a fun, creative, and safe environment where gamers and anime fans can personalize their desktops with interactive mascots. These guidelines are here to ensure that everyone in the Phase Pal community has a positive and respectful experience. By using Phase Pal, our website, and any official community spaces (Discord, Reddit, Steam, etc.), you agree to follow these rules.
1. Age Requirement
To use Phase Pal and participate in our community, you must be at least 13 years old. If you are a resident of the European Union, you must be at least 16 years old.
2. Core Principles: Be Respectful and Constructive
The heart of our community is respect. We expect all users to interact in a civil and constructive manner.
- Respect Everyone: Treat all members of the community, including developers and moderators, with kindness and respect. We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, hate speech, personal attacks, name-calling, or any form of bullying.
- Keep it Civil: Healthy debates and different opinions are welcome, but they must be expressed respectfully. Do not post content that is inflammatory, discriminatory, or intended to provoke others.
- No Impersonation: Do not impersonate other users, content creators, moderators, or Phase Pal staff in a deceptive manner.
3. Content and Usage Rules
These rules apply to all content and activities on the Phase Pal platform, including our website, the desktop application, and official community spaces.
- Phase Pal supports both SFW and NSFW experiences, with visibility controlled by user settings. NSFW content is permitted only when:
- A user has explicitly enabled the NSFW toggle, and
- The content does not involve minors, real photographic pornography, or extreme gore.
- It is shared in spaces where NSFW content is appropriate and clearly labeled.
- Users must never send NSFW content to people who have not opted in or who request not to see it.
- Explicit content involving minors in any form, extreme violence/gore, or real sexual imagery of identifiable people is strictly prohibited.
- Phase pals are assistants and roleplay companions. Mature themes are allowed only when NSFW mode is enabled and must not involve minors, real-world sexual depictions of identifiable people, or extreme violence.
- We are excited to support the creator community! When creating and uploading your own 3D models, you must ensure they comply with all our guidelines. Additionally:
- Only upload content that you have created yourself or have explicit permission to use. Do not upload models or assets from other games or artists without proper rights.
- NSFW mods must be properly tagged and comply with the restrictions above.
- Do not upload mods that contain viruses, malware, or scripts intended to harm another user's computer.
- Do not spam the community with repetitive messages, advertisements, or irrelevant links. Self-promotion should be limited and relevant to the Phase Pal community.
